Over the next two decades, hundreds of thousands of housing units will be built upward, turning high-density vertical living into the reality for the vast majority of Torontonians. We all can all agree that a thriving, protected waterfront is essential to Toronto’s future, liveability, and green canopy.
Planning 20 years out requires reserving significant waterfront land for parklands, public access, and active recreation, ensuring Toronto remains a livable, healthy city as it reaches metropolis scale.
