Rowanwood Avenue transmission watermain construction is restarting
Following extensive review a new location for the reception shaft has been found. Construction is expected to resume in mid-April and continue to November 2027. Construction will require a full closure of Rowanwood Avenue, east of Yonge Street.

Road closure: Roxborough Street West at Yonge Street
The City has issued a road closure for Roxborough Street West between Yonge Street and Sam Tile/Paul Hahn Lanes to connect the 1 Roxborough site to the City’s water and sewer systems and to perform necessary infrastructure upgrades.
A safety win for Roxborough Street West: New temporary crosswalk coming soon
The City is moving forward with the installation of a temporary crosswalk west of Sam Tile and Paul Hahn Lane to keep pedestrians safe during the 1 Roxborough construction.
