Get your skates out for some holiday fun!

The three levels of government have cooperated to bring the ABC community a holiday treat. A beautifully restored and fully functioning Ramsden Park Skating rink is back in operation after extensive rehabilitation. We understand that the ice will be ready Monday, December 22, and the change rooms soon after, so test it out over the Holidays!

Best wishes from ABCRA for a happy and healthy holiday season!

Pricefield Park playground improvements

The City of Toronto has identified Pricefield Park as an important amenity for the accessibility, liveability and mobility of the residents in the surrounding area. The City is seeking community input about its detailed proposal for significant improvements to Pricefield Road Park. The Park is located to the east of Yonge Street behind Scrivener Square/Summerhill LCBO and the Thornwood condo buildings.

The proposed improvements would provide more amenities and aim to make the park more attractive to all ages. Please spend a few minutes completing the survey before the June 30 deadline.

City of Toronto watermain construction update

During recent work at the Macpherson shaft site, the contractor discovered a steel beam and column structure.

Currently, the City staff and the contractor are exploring the relocation of the Macpherson shaft site. This relocation would extend the overall project timeline, and a revised schedule will be developed accordingly. While the project team works through these technical adjustments, construction is on hold.
