Photography Comes Alive with Music, Dance and Spoken Word
Heliconian Hall in Yorkville hosts LUMINOUS, an exhibition of fourteen women photographers. Eight performance artists engage with the spirit of selected photographs, a delightful form of synergy. This interaction of art disciplines is called “ekphrasis”.
Opening Reception:
October 3 from 2 – 5 p.m. Reception with dance, music and spoken word performances. Two different programmes at 2:15 and 3:15 p.m.
Free Public Viewings:
October 3 from 2 – 5 p.m. and October 14 from 5 – 8:30 p.m. You are also invited to view by appointment.
