About our Guest Speakers:
Marie-Helen Brillinger is a Project Lead dedicated to advancing municipal initiatives that reduce waste and create a more environmentally sustainable future. She is currently working on the review and update of the City of Toronto’s Long-term Waste Management Strategy with the goal of contributing to the development of innovative program and policy solutions to address the City’s waste management challenges.
Connie Choy is a Senior Project Manager currently working on the City of Toronto’s Long-term Waste Management Strategy update which will outline the activities for the next 10 years and explore options to continue diverting waste and managing the disposal of residual waste. Previously, she was responsible for the Community Reduce and Reuse Programs at the City of Toronto which further helps reduce waste through delivering programs in partnership with local agencies and non-profit organizations.
