MESSAGE FROM JOSH MATLOW:
Thank you so much for your interest in the future of our city, and for the many requests we have received to RSVP for our upcoming Empower Toronto event. Due to a remarkably high volume of requests, and to ensure that we are able to accommodate as many people as possible, we have secured an even larger venue. I knew that this discussion was timely, and would contribute to a much needed conversation about how to ensure our city has the ability to provide the services, and quality of life we expect of it in the 21st century. However, it is inspiring to witness how many Torontonians like you want to be directly involved in finding ways to move us forward.
Please note that while the date and time continue to be Tuesday, June 18th at 7:00pm, the new and larger venue will be Timothy Eaton Memorial Church at 230 St Clair Avenue West. Thank you again to our panelists along with Steve Paikin for moderating.
With the increased capacity, there are more opportunities to RSVP. Please click here to reserve your spot. If you have already contacted us about the Empower Toronto event, we will be reaching out to confirm your seat. You do not need to also RSVP online. If you are unable to attend the event, it will be livestreamed online. Details will be available at joshmatlow.ca the day of the event, as well as on my Twitter and Facebook accounts.
P.S. I recognize that to accommodate the many requests, we've had to send you three emails. For that, I apologize. Unless the Raptors agree to share Scotiabank Arena, my next email to you will be at the end of the month with my regular City Hall and Community Update :).
