Construction dust, and its prevention and mitigation is a serious concern of resident associations, including members of the Federation of North Toronto Residents’ Associations (FoNTRA).
The general consensus at the May 15th public consultation session (arranged by Municipal Licensing and Standards) was disappointment that there was insufficient background information provided at the session, and there was a narrow focus on a few items, especially stone cutting dust.
FoNTRA believes that a broader and more comprehensive approach needs to be taken.
