Background on TO360

TO360 is an effort to help people find their way by making streets, neighbourhoods, and the city more legible. After the successful completion of a pilot project in the Financial District in 2015, city-wide rollout of mapping elements and signage in selected pedestrian areas is underway. During 2017 – 2018, Torontonians will see the development of a map database that will support the production of wayfinding maps. The initial focus for this work is on an area bounded roughly by Lake Ontario in the south, Royal York Road in the west, St. Clair Avenue in the north, and Warden Avenue in the east.
