The Buried Yorkville Reach, a tributary of the the Castlefield Brook.

The old creek, called the “Yorkville Reach” once ran from the CPR tracks through Ramsden Park and eventually to the Don River.
Its clean water and rich clay sand deposits led to the establishment of a brewery and brickyard.
Today, the creek still flows beneath Ramsden park through a buried sewer line shown in the photos.
