Waterfront Toronto’s President and CEO Will Fleissig will provide the community with an update on recent progress, the organization’s evolving mandate, new strategy and major projects that will define our waterfront’s future.
Everyone who is interested in our waterfront should try to participate in the town hall meeting. Together, we can ensure that robust community engagement underpins the next phase of Waterfront Toronto’s work.
This is also your chance to meet the Waterfront for All team and pick up your free button. Make sure to stop by our table and find out more how we are building our new organization – and how you can get involved.
Learn more about this important event and let us know if you can make it.
I also wanted to let you know that the we are still in the middle of hearings for the planned mega-nightclub’s liquor license in the Port Lands. The owners rejected another mediation attempt, which means that hearings will resume around June 12. We will send a detailed update on this issue soon. A big thank-you to everyone who has signed our petitionand helped us cover our legal fees by donating generously.
There’s a lot happening on our waterfront. Let’s speak with a strong voice for community-focused waterfront renewal. I’m looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
