The complete 2015.16 concert season at Koerner Hall has been announced! 

Highlights include:

  • A new series called “Quiet Please, There’s A Lady On Stage,” includes Joan Armatrading on her farewell tour, French singer Anne Carrère embodying Edith Piaf, Lisa Fischer, a star of the documentary 20 Feet from StardomRené Marie’s tribute to Eartha Kitt, and Lizz Wright on a double-bill withPatricia O'Callaghan.
  • Our new TD Jazz series, Katrina 10 Years On, follows hurricane Katrina through Cuba, Haiti, and the US Gulf Coast.Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club kicks off the series on their final world tour, followed by performances by Jane Bunnett & Maqueque and Emeline MichelButler,Bernstein, and The Hot 9Brian Blade and The Fellowship BandTerence Blanchard; and Marcus Roberts and The Modern Jazz Generation.
  • Family Concerts will continue to offer younger audiences — and their parents, grandparents, and friends — a chance to experience grown-up music in a family-friendly format. This year David Buchbinder takes us into ancient Andalucia, a cappella group Sweet Honey In The Rock returns to share African American history and culture, and east L.A.’s legendaryLos Lobos play an acoustic concert.
  • Vocal concerts featuring the Vienna Boys’ ChoirThe Tallis Scholars, the Orlando Consort, and Bryn Terfel.
  • International string stars Daniel HopeVilde FrangAugustin DumayMischa Maisky, and James Ehnes in recital on the Koerner Hall stage.
  • The Invesco Piano Concerts series features Simone DinnersteinJan LisieckiSir András SchiffPaul Lewis, and organist Cameron Carpenter.
  • Talented students and faculty from The Glenn Gould School in Mazzoleni Concert Hall.
