92 Roxborough C of A Hearing: Another win for community involvement

The dates to appeal the decisions of the COA with the respect to the Consent application and the Minor Variances applications for 92 Roxborough have expired, and there have been no appeals by the owner.

Thanks to the tremendous organization of the Macpherson and Roxborough neighbours and your ABC Residents Association, the Committee of Adjustment unanimously rejected all the applications that would have cleared the way to build a home at the rear of 92 Roxborough Street West.

Another win for community involvement.

I would like to thank you, on behalf of Rox/Mac residents, for your wonderful support in defending our neighbourhood.  A special thank you to Ian, who spoke so well on the detrimental impact the severance and host of variances would have on the look, feel, and liveability of Roxborough St. W. and MacPherson Ave. And thank you to Mary Helen and other ABCRA board members for joining us in stopping this proposal.
One thing the COA hearing did is to bring us, as residents, together. We now know more of our neighbours. We also know that there is love and concern for where we live in Ramsden North.
Perhaps Mr. Hiscox of Constantine Enterprises may appeal the very clear decision of the COA to the OMB, but we plan to stand our ground and hope that we can count on our resident's association, ABC, to stand with us.
Again, all the hard work, time and energy ABCRA contributed, to fight the requested severance and variances, is kindly appreciated.
