Toronto Police Service : Project Yellowbird

Police Division 53 has advised they have made arrests for the neigbourhood break and enters and are making items seized from the project visible to the public.  Division 53 has also advised that RIDE check points will be in Yorkville,Summerhill and Avenue Road this weekend. Drive Safely. 

PROJECT YELLOWBIRD has been a 10-month investigation into a series of break-and-enters 22, 32 and 53 Divisions that occurred from December 2013 to August 2014.

This project led to the recovery of dozens of vehicles and thousands of items during a series of warrants executed on August 28, 2014 throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Police are making items seized from the project visible to the public to reunite owners with their property as well as support their investigation against those responsible for the crimes.
