Police issue sexual assault alert after attack in Ramsden Park late last night

Toronto police have issued a sexual assault alert after an attack in Ramsden Park between in the Avenue Rd. and Davenport Rd. area last night.
According to police at approximately 1 a.m on Tuesday, Oct. 7, . a woman was walking up the stairs and a man was walking down the stairs toward her. The man grabbed the woman, threw her to the ground and tried to cover her mouth before sexually assaulting her.
After the assault the man fled eastbound toward Yonge Street
He is described as white, in his mid 30s, is about 5’9″ to 6′ tall. He was wearing prescription glasses, a dark blue hoodie with white lines on the sides and dark-coloured pants, possibly jeans.
