89 AVENUE ROAD (the property north of Whole Foods)The City has refused a rezoning application to construct this mixed-use commercial, hotel and residential building. The developer is proposing a 28-storey building, with a 6-storey building at the rear and a 3-storey common podium. It has 37 residential units, 53 vehicular parking spaces, and 3 levels of below grade parking.ABCRA also rejects this application as completely unsuitable for this site. An OMB hearing to adjudicate the matter has been adjourned pending discussions which are taking place between the applicant, the City and the residents and adjacent condo owners.
