In the late 60‘s ABCRA successfully fought a proposal to build two Greenwin apartment buildings on land now the west end of Ramsden Park and has assumed close stewardship of the park ever since. Knowing that the park will celebrate its 110th anniversary in 2014, ABC wanted to find a way to inspire a much needed revitalization. In the spring of 2013 the Association completed and presented to Councillor Wong-Tam and City Parks staff a suggested master plan for Ramsden Park.

Councillor Wong-Tam has committed $4.5 to 5 million for the Park's revitalization and the City has awarded the contract for the design to PMA Landscape Architects Ltd.
