The Tost Quartet: The quartet is named after Johann Tost, to whom Haydn dedicated his frequently performed Opus 64 quartets. The Tost Quartet specializes in presenting music in intimate settings, bringing cheer to communities of those who are unable to get out to hear concerts in public performance spaces.
Catherine Sulem - violin, Gretchen Paxson-Abberger - violin, Elizabeth Morris - viola, Stephen Buck - cello, met in 2008 while performing together for a Toronto chamber music series.
Program will include works by Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovitch, Mendelssohn.
