As well as all the building construction we are experiencing in our area, the City has provided a map and list of road and other infrastructure projects underway or scheduled for the near future in Ward 11.
Collectively these will affect traffic and getting around our Ward, and two are within our ABC borders:
- Watermain replacement at Yonge/Macpherson and eastward along Rowanwood and other streets in Rosedale.* The work is scheduled for September 2024 to May 2026 and we expect the City to provide further details as the time approaches about any traffic or parking implications
- Ramsden Park Road reconstruction and improved safety (north end of Ramsden Park at Yonge Street). Preparations have started with completion expected In January 2025. Thank you to Julia Bass, the ABCRA street representation for Gibson Avenue, for pressing for these improvements.
You may also have noticed that more benches and picnic tables have been installed in the park as well as a new covered pavilion.
